We again remind media of the widespread use of information operations by both parties to the conflict and the importance of verifying all information prior to publishing, and that this office will endeavour to verify information as required.
Due to the operational environment and the situation on the ground, we cannot accede to any request from the media to visit, and certainly not for an extended embed with the Battalion. Also, unfortunately there is no scope currently for anyone deployed in Lebanon to conduct an interview.
