The Tánaiste and Minister for Defence, Mr Micheál Martin T.D. and the Chief of Staff of the Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Seán Clancy, will host a media day in Farmleigh House from 4.00 - 5.00 p.m on Thursday 13 July 2023. The purpose of this media day is to announce, highlight and promote the Defence Forces Open Day, which will take place in Farmleigh House on Saturday 29 July 2023.
The Defence Forces Parachute Display Team, the Black Knights will jump into Farmleigh this Thursday, weather permitting. Following this the Tánaiste and the Chief of Staff will speak about the Open Day and what you can expect to see on the day. There will also be an opportunity for photographs.
