The DFTC Open Day will take place on Sunday 9th June from 1200-1600hrs at the Curragh Camp.
On the day there will be a number of stands and events. There will also be a kids zone and involvement from Defence Forces veterans groups and local community groups while local vendors will also be in situ selling refreshments.
There open day will consist of:
- Static vehicle and weapons display
- Unarmed Combat displays
- Artillery shoot
- Section in attack demonstrations
- The Defence Forces Parachute Team, the Black Knights will also conduct a Jump (weather dependant).
In addition the Defence Forces and local Pipe Bands will provide a musical recital throughout the day. Parking will be available on McDonagh square and if necessary an overflow car park will be available on McDermott Barracks square.
